The layout is simple, so beds can be lengthened or shortened. On the plan with a 100×100 cm grid each square is one metre — compare it with your garden, work out how many plants sit on one metre of a bed and add or subtract accordingly. When extending a bed you simply repeat the plants you like best.
The design assumes a garden on three sides. With a detached house one strip is left without planting — just add a bed taken from any of the five variants. The planting plan on the grid gives exact spacings, so the moved bed keeps the right proportions. Choose the variant according to how sunny that side of the house is.
